Members Tournament June 2, 2012

June Tournament Winners Erick Sandvik and Charlie Mack with a 1.7 lb trout. They split the prize money as partners in our latest tournament. Don’t spend it all in one place guys!
Jamie Smith won the tournament last month with a 1.7 lb trout also. 

Emil was on Mikee Wilkes’ Boat and hooked into a large stingray. Emil could have won the tournament with it but couldn’t get anyone to weigh it! Actually, Emil couldn’t get the big ray in the boat. Buck and Mikee kept yelling, “I’m not gonna weigh it!” LOL
Now I have to disqualify rays as well as catfish, (whisker Trout) and sharks as well for next months tournament.

Next Members Tournament is August 4th. Be there or be square! 

June Meeting

Guest speaker Lee, owner of Source One Marine spoke about boat maintenance and a lot of other good information. The ethanol in our fuel was a hot topic. Lee gave good advice as to how to deal with it. We all agreed that the use of ethanol in fuel, which comes from corn, was as good as burning our food!
